Instrument and Product Blacklists
Organizations can maintain a list of blacklisted instruments/products that prohibit entering new positions across all accounts in their organization. This can be done on either the instrument level, where, for example, accounts will be unable to enter new positions on specific futures, or on the product symbol level, where all instruments under a product parent symbol are restricted.
This works by rejecting orders on affected instruments that could potentially create a new position, or increase an existing position. Orders that close out or reduce a position in a blacklisted instrument are allowed.
Modifying these blacklists will not cancel existing orders. Only subsequent order submissions will be affected.
Spread orders will also be rejected if they have a leg with a blacklisted instrument that would increase or create a new position in the outright.
This is currently only available via the API, but a user interface is coming soon.
